Day 25: After

After
Self righteous and bound
in self imposed small
mindedness.
Selfishness surrounding
us is not our portion.
God forbid.

Lost-seeking to be found
letting loose some of
her cautiousness.

The morning after
-full of promise
-full of questions.

Awaiting impending
guilt and shame.

Wondering 'why'
and 'how', 'if only'.
Realizing the pain
that's being lonely.

the wrong in wanting
the strength in waiting.
How to go on

or explain the
situation?
Whatever was -
must have been

lost.

Whatever was gained
has paid the
cost.

Is anything the same?

Has everything
changed?
